Your Gateway to a World of Wonder, Exploration, and Endless Possibilities in STEM
BLOCK CODING/ROBOTICS
At STEM on WHEELS, we’re excited to introduce block coding and robotics to youth in the Walnut Park community—bringing 21st-century skills directly into neighborhoods that deserve the best in education and opportunity. Youth ages 5 to 16 participated in hands-on sessions where they explored the foundations of computer programming through block coding and applied what they learned to bring robots to life.
Their eagerness to learn was unmatched, and they quickly mastered the core concepts—building, coding, and problem-solving like true young engineers. From programming robots to complete tasks to designing their own interactive games, these students proved that with the right exposure and support, they can thrive in high-tech environments. We're proud to help spark their passion for STEM and show them just how powerful their minds can be.

Empowering Future Computer Programmers
Watch the magic happen as our 8-year-old girls dive into block coding a robot for the very first time! Their excitement is contagious, their curiosity unstoppable—and just take a look at those smiles! This moment captures exactly why STEM on WHEELS exists: to ignite a love for learning, build confidence through hands-on exploration, and open doors to futures filled with endless possibilities. These young minds are coding their way into tomorrow, one block at a time. 💻🤖✨

Youth mastering the art of ROBOTICS
At just 12 years old, these brilliant young females are already mastering the art of block coding and robotics—and they're doing it with confidence, creativity, and joy. What began as a simple introduction to programming has turned into a true showcase of their potential. From designing code sequences to bringing robots to life, these future innovators are proving that age is no barrier when passion and opportunity come together. Their success reflects the mission of STEM on WHEELS: to empower girls to lead, build, and thrive in the world of STEM. The future is bright—and it’s being built block by block, robot by robot.

Youth Learning the Art of Programing
During a recent STEM on WHEELS instructional session, youth from the community were introduced to the art of Block Coding and Robotics—many for the very first time. With laptops open and robots ready, students explored the building blocks of programming in a hands-on, interactive environment designed to spark creativity and curiosity.
An Unforgettable Journey to TRACON
Thanks to the generosity of TAS STL Limousine Service, our youth experienced a thrilling ride to the TRACON facility in style. Traveling by limousine not only set the stage for an unforgettable day but also added a layer of excitement to their STEM learning experience. Arriving with enthusiasm, the students were ready to dive into today’s assignment at the heart of air traffic operations. This special journey made their introduction to aviation technology even more inspiring, sparking curiosity and motivation as they explored the future of airspace management.

Block Coding With STEM ON WHEELS
At STEM on WHEELS, the energy is high and the excitement is real! Our students are fully engaged—building their memory through Block Coding and operating robots with confidence and skill. Each session brings new challenges, and our youth are rising to meet them with focus, curiosity, and determination.
As they program their robots to move, respond, and complete tasks, they’re not just having fun—they’re strengthening their problem-solving abilities, boosting memory retention, and gaining real-world tech skills. Watching them collaborate, think critically, and celebrate their success is a powerful reminder that when you give young minds the right tools and encouragement, they can achieve anything.
This is more than just a class—it’s a launchpad for future engineers, coders, and creators.
